New this season, thanks to the Skate It Forward program through the Minnesota Wild Foundation. First year hockey players will have no WAYHA association registration costs (USA Hockey fees do not apply).

The core objective of Skate It Forward is to grow community hockey participation in Minnesota by making it easier for first-time players to get on the ice. Skate It Forward will support the many community hockey leaders throughout the state who generously volunteer their time to introduce the sport to kids, aiming to expand participation and strengthen community hockey in Minnesota.

Ultimately, the goal is to one day make the first year of ice time free for every young hockey player in Minnesota. Admittedly, it’s ambitious, and it’s not going to be easy. But community hockey in Minnesota is worth it!

This season we have embedded more forms and information into our registration process.  Before you start registering your player please have the following items ready.

• 2025-2026 USA Hockey Member Number for each player (See Below)
• Image of Birth Certificate to be uploaded to the website (this confirms your players age)
• Debit or Credit Card for payment (Full Payment or 4/6 Month Payment Plan Options)
• If your player has a Wisconsin address you will need a completed Inter-player Release form to be uploaded to the website for approval.  You can upload it during the registration process. Click the image to download the form.
• If you would like to request your child play at a level higher than your child's birth year or grade level fill you will need to fill out the Play Up Request Form below.

6U/Mini-Mite Co-Ed (June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2020)  

        Youth ages 5, 6, & 7 (PreK, Kindergarten & 1st Grade)

        $150 Early Bird; $200 September 1st

8U/Mite Co-Ed (June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018) 

         Youth ages 7, 8, & 9 (2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grade). 

         $150 Early Bird; $200 September 1st

10U Girls Only (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2016) 

        Youth ages 9, 10, & 11 (4th, 5th & 6th Grade)
